For different types of premises, you can choose the level of protection: from basic security to burglary resistance classes RC1 and RC2. Backset
Backset is the dimension from the handle axis to the edge of the lock end plate.
We use locks with 25, 35, 45 mm backsets.
A certain backset is characterized by a certain profile type:

25 – interior doors (window 78, 80 mm and cross type sashes of 95 mm)

35, 45 – front doors (door leaves 105, 116, 120, 125, 126 mm)
Form factor
A pin-lock – is a lock with a single locking point that is activated by turning the key; both a roller latch and a latchbolt can be used to close the door leaf.
Pin-locks are available for both the Front door and Interior door types with 25 and 35 backsets. They do not provide sufficient tight closing of the sash to the frame and are recommended for use in unheated or non-residential premises.
Available brands and models of pin-locks are Reze and Fuhr.
A multipoint lock – is a lock that has additional locking points (in addition to the central deadbolt) such as pins, mushroom cams, hooks etc. located on the lock plate. Multipoint locks are widely applicable.
Handle operation
all additional locking points are closed by lifting the handle upwards, after that the key closes the bolt (if present). The need for a handle (lever) to close the door significantly limits the use of locks of this type. The advantages include reliability, the presence of a lever handle simplifies closing.
Key operation
additional points are locked when the key is turned. This makes it possible to use locks with push type, combined, office handlesets and even without any handleset, as the latchbolt or roller latch are also operated by a key. When choosing a lock, you should take into account the possibility of sash deformation. If it occurs, it is extremely difficult to close the pins with a key.
Burglary resistance
Security starts with the details. Viknar’off anti-burglary fittings are a set of solutions that protect your home from unauthorized entry. Special structural elements make it difficult to break in, increase the level of protection and provide peace of mind for the owners.
We use hardware with reinforced components: anti-burglary pins, steel hooks, reinforced handles and special fasteners. All of this works in a single system with our door structures – efficiently, reliably, and long-lasting.
Siegenia AS2750 lock
Burglar resistance is ensured by conical hooks, which also function as additional pressure points. The lock set includes three rails for different sash heights, allowing the hook to be positioned optimally relative to the sash corner. There are three Softlock latches that, when closing the sash, provide improved sealing, while plastic inserts ensure a noiseless closing.
Siegenia DB MR/PZ lock
A door solution that provides maximum protection against drafts, featuring additional locking points on the horizontal bars. In mullionless constructions, a drive is available that allows the sash to be opened with a lever. The Siegenia DB MR/PZ lock with the convenient S-RS cam ensures the desired level of burglary resistance and adjustment relative to the increased rebate dimension.
The Fuhr 855
Equipped with hooks, the constructions can meet the RC2 burglary resistance class when properly installed according to EN 1627. In addition, the Fuhr 856 lock features two hardened steel pins in the bolt, which make cylinder cutting significantly more difficult.
Fuhr 833 lock
It is equipped with latch bolts that function as full locking points. When coming into contact with a magnet, they extend by 25 mm. This increases the level of security even when the sash is simply closed. The two rails included in the lock set allow the upper latch to be positioned in the optimal location.
